ART. MUSIC. FOOD. COMMUNITY.

the first Friday of every month, starting at 5pm!

New Precarious Systems: Lewis Colburn
Feb 7 – Mar 13
Artist Talk Feb 7th, 6pm

Please join Riverviews Artspace on First Friday, 2/7, from 5–8pm in our Main Gallery for the opening of New Precarious Systems, an exhibition by sculptor and installation artist Lewis Colburn.

This compelling body of work features a series of interrelated sculptural vignettes that combine fragmented monument-forms with contemporary objects, exploring themes of artifice, automation, and human fragility. Colburn’s pieces reflect a sense of acceleration—of both progress and political retrogression—by destabilizing previously monolithic forms and ideas. Each work invites viewers to examine the precarious systems that govern our world and challenges our understanding of permanence and stability.
